All through the night

Anecdote

"All through the night" is really a most beautiful, haunting moving song and tune and embodies for me essence of Welsh music. I learned it as a child in school but didn't take into my repertoire until after browsing through Geoffrey Shaw's Twice 44 Sociable Songs which trawled back happy childhood memories.
The English lyrics are super, but the Welsh are even better as found in Caneuon Cymru - Songs of Wales and Welcome to Wales.
