A "foin" song, as the Irish might say. Yet another song that I've never actually heard either live or recording and picked up in Soodlum's 100 Irish Ballads Volume 1.I've sung it a great deal to German audiences. To my immense gratification I've been told by a German guest in Feri's, Vegesack, that my rendering was just as he had heard in Ireland.
