I sang the bass part of an SATB arrangement of Heitor Villa-Lobos's Auê! senhora terra when a member of KITO Chor sometime in 1999. The arrangement can be found in Romania Cantat published by Gunter Narr Verlag.
This work so inspired me that I temporarily dropped my ragtime activities to adapt the work for a recorder quartet. Comments are given in my recorder adaptation Auê! Senhora Terra as they comply equally well to both the recorder and vocal ensembles.
