Rosenstock, Holderblüh
Last updated: 11.10.23
I had never heard or heard of "Rosenstock, Holderblüh" until coming across it in Lieder, Songs und Gospels 3. This is a light-hearted, joyous Swabian folksong whereby each line of its four verses is apparently nonsense. My Swabian being non-existent, I cannot really verify that. It has a very nice "La, la, la" chorus.
