Punters is a Robin Laing humorous song belittling and/or poking fun at two participant punts performing and pulling off stunts when as punters punting on the Union canal (as the song goes). I thoroughly enjoyed all the alliteration when singing this song with the Tyneside Maritime Chorus under Benny Graham. I also enjoyed Dave Brocksopp's rendition which he often performed at the Bridge Folk Club.
