Fill the bumper fair
Last updated: 22.01.22
Fill the Bumper Fair was written by Irishman Thomas Moore (1779-1852) to the air of Bob and Joan from Irish Melodies, Vol. 6. It has a lovely chorus to whit:
Fill the bumper fair!
Every drop we sprinkle
O'er the brow of Care
Smooths away a wrinkle.

No book of drinking songs should be without it! The song was therefore a must for our compilation We're Only Here For The Beer! - Light by Dr. Rosteck and myself.
