Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty
Last updated: 11.10.23
I had never heard of "Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty" until I came across it in Busking for Special Occaisions. I find it a quite amusing one-verse song. The line "Your fairy days are ending when your wand has started bending ..." is not only true poetry but also deliciously hilarious and observant. As yet, I've not had the opportunity of singing this one in public.
