The Miller of Dee
Last updated: 11.10.23
The version of The Miller of Dee that I sing can be found in Folk Songs of the British Isles. This is a folk song of some antiquity, 17th century, about a jolly miller extolling the virtues of his trade. The third verse has the air of a drinking song about it with the toast of "Long live the king" is called.
