Follow Me Sweet Love is a most beautiful song written and composed by Michael East in the early 17th century. I loved singing it as the bass in Das Trio together with Britta Steenken (soprano) and Maike Weyerts (alto) in Bremen-Vegesack sometime around 2005. Besides it being a beautiful song, it had the added attraction for me as the bass singer in that, for once, I lead the ladies in the opening bars.
