Fill the Cup Philip is to be found in Peter Warlock's The Choral music of Peter Warlock Vol. 1. It was composed in 1928 and was, quoting the composer, A song to be roared, over mugs of beer, to the accompaniment of 1. Cornet in Bb, 2. Saxophone in Eb, 2 Baritones in Bb and 1 Euphonium in Bb.. The text, a poem is taken from the 16th century Chambers and Sidgwicks anthology.
Oliver Rosteck and I took it into our repertoire as Dr. Rosteck & Mr. Grainger. sometime in 2008 but have rarely perfomed it.
