She initially appeared in theatres and music halls as Dainty Daisy Dimple but changed her stage name to Daisy Dormer in 1903. She achieved wider success with I Wouldn't Leave My Little Wooden Hut For You (1905 - words: Tom Mellor; music: Charles Collins) which is given in 60 Old-Time Variety Songs. She performed in many pantomimes in venues such as in the role of Queen Zaza in Hop-O'-My-Thumb atthe Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
She died in Clapham, London.
