Cora Salisbury (?-1916)

Overview

Cora Salisbury is best know today as the buxom pianist who went on to accompany the 16-year old violinist Benjamin Kubelsky after having played together in a pit orchestra in Waukegan, Illinois. Kubelsky, of course, was soon to become the famous comedian Ben K. Benny. Cora Salisbury composed a handful of pieces and of ragtime interest is her Lemons and Limes (1910).
