According to the Internet source given below, Hughie Cannon was an American composer; born in Detroit and died in Toledo, Ohio. He was a pianist for many vaudeville performers. In addition to Bill Baily, his other greatest hit was He Done Me Wrong (1904), written for the musical Frankie and Johnny.
