Personal remarks:
I purchased this item, a companion volume to 100 Irish Ballads Volume 1, in Richmond, England in the early 1990's. This too is amongst the best buys which I ever made and contains at least thirty of the songs to be found in my repertoire. It also amusingly includes such songs as Fiddler's Green, Three Score and Ten, Stormy Winds do Blow, The Gypsy, New York Girls, Paddy Works on the Railway, Four Drunken Maidens, The Wraggle Taggle Gypsies, Sally Brown as well as many others. I've said it before, dear surfer, and I'll say it again. Any song and Irishman or Irishwoman sings is an Irish song! This songbook also has the following Irish songs:
