I learned "Limerick you're a lady" right out of the holy pages of Soodlum's 100 Irish Ballads Volume 2. This is an unrestrained eulogy on Limerick and her beauties which I find musically difficult to sing. In fact I don't sing it well at all but I keep trying and am reluctant to ban it from my repertoire. After all, it isn't the songs fault.
