The Thriller! was, just as Dusty (1908) had been, a nation-wide hit in America and went on to be recorded by such worthies ranging from the New Orleans cornet legend, Bunk Johnson to the British champion jazz band of Chris Barber. This recorder adaptatio provides plenty of scope for displays of virtuosity both in the melody as well as in the rhythm sections.
