p_alstadterj.jpgDr. Judith Alstadter is a concert pianist, music educator, lecturer, and recording artist born in New York.
Alstadter is a graduate of the Julliard School where she studied with Rosina Lhevinne and Sascha Gorodnitzki. She has a Doctoral Degree from Yale University School of Music, where she studied with Ward Davenny as well as studying in France with Jeanne-Marie Darré
She has performed in the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean, including appearances at Alice Tully Hall Lincoln Center and Carnegie Recital Hall.
Of ragtime interest are her performances of works by women raggtime composers..
