His songs were sung by Marie Lloyd, Albert Chevalier, Richard George Knowles, Gracie Fields, Florrie Forde, Lily Burnard among many others. Perhaps his best-known song is On Mother Kelly's Doorstep (1925) published by J. Albert & Son, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia..
