Air From the Opera Guistino
Last updated: 19.12.19
This "Air from the opera GUISTINO" by G.F. Handel is one of several works which I purchased in June 1983 and were intended to be used by
The Schwanewede Recorder Consort. We played it a few times but never performed it publicly. It is interesting in that it is scored for two treble and bass, a somewhat unusual combination. The first treble should be played expressively to get the most from it (not always easy with young, intermediate players).
This item is printed on the same sheet as
Symphony For the Flutes From Orpheus Britanicus, Vol. I by
Henry Purcell.
