Lew joined Primrose and West's Minstrels in 1889, and then, with George Primrose, he organised his most famous minstrel troupe in 1898 attracting the talents of. Al Jolson and the then famous countertenor Will Oakland amongst other luminaries of the day. Although written more than ninety years ago, this delightful rag is still in circulation.
