Theatre Royal

According to the Internet source given below, The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, commonly known as Drury Lane, is a West End theatre and Grade I listed building in Covent Garden, London, England.
It has a long history spanning 4 theatres built on the same site extending back to 1663. All the great and famous including Nell Gwyn, David Garrick, Richard Brinsley Sheridan, Joseph Grimaldi down the centuries up to the present owner composer Andrew Lloyd Webber amongst so many others have worked and made their careers here. On the music hall side Marie Lloyd has also graced this prestigious establishment.
