Gwendolyn Stevenson  (1876-1933)

Gwendolyn Stevenson was a one-off ragtime composer born in Davenport, Iowa. She was a music teacher for more than 40 years and she moved to Chicago, Illinois somewhere about 1901 where she worked in a music store. Her only published composition, Smash Up Rag (1914), was published in New York by Jerome H. Remick & Co. She died in Chicago.
