Etilmon J. Stark (1867-1962)

Etilmon J. Stark was an American composer and arranger of popular music. According to Trebenor J. Tichenor in his That American Rag: The Story of Ragtime from Coast to Coast, he was the eldest son of the St. Louis, Missouri, publisher John Stark with a prolific musical output having done most of the arrangements for the so-called "Red Back Book". He is perhaps best known for his Billiken Rag and Gum Shoe Fox Trot. He also composed using the pseudonym Bud Manchester.
