R.G. Grady

Overview

R. G. Grady [Gradi] is another of those obscure ragtime era composers and songwriters known only from the covers of their published works. He composed a dozen or thereabouts pieces between 1909 and 1919, half of them being rags of which the best known is probably Happy Rag (1913).
In common with many of his contemporaries he wrote under a number of pseudonyms including Henry Bartell, Eugene Mack, Bessie Barrett, Violet Hudson and Victor Moulton
