According to the Internet source given below, La Fontegara Amsterdam comprising Saskia Coolen, Peter Holtslag and Han Tol, was active from 1980 until 2000 when disbanded when they played their farewell-concert in Amsterdam.
They studied recorder in Amsterdam in the late 1970's and played hundreds of concerts in leading concert halls all over Europe as well as in the US and recorded for broadcasters such as National Radio (US), BBC (London), WDR (Köln), NOS (Amsterdam) etc.
On popular demand, the three musicians got together for a one-off concert tour from February to March 2009 traveling The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and the Far East.
