Georgia Jingles is another typical Wenrich charming and easy-to-play two-step as well as being indeed "jingley" in both senses of the word. One's imagination can be easily stretched to envisage even Father Christmas bowling along with his reindeer-drawn sleigh jingling to these catchy jingles. The piece has an AABBACC form whereby the composer provides the option repeating the BB second strain with, in Wenrich's words "good effect".
Georgia Jingles was published by McKinley Music Co., Chicago & New York, USA.
A tempo of 90 crotchets/min. is suggested.
There is also a tenor solo version of this item.
