J. Alex Silberberg

J. Alex Silberberg was an American composer and songwriter of a score or thereabouts pieces. According to John Cowles, he was also an accompanist in the Victor Talking Machine studios. He accompanied the famous banjo player Vess Ossman on his tours with whom he also recorded Lumb'rin' Luke (1901), presumably in England.
