According to the Internet source given below, Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk, a Dutch composer, was born in Amsterdam in 1955. His works include symphonic music, chamber music, children's theatrical music and film music. Among them are a number of highly successful works for recorder, both for the amateur and for the professional. The latter include 'So Tear' (1985), for La Fontegara Amsterdam, the Quartet (1991) for Brisk Recorder Consort, 'The Party' (1994) for double quartet, and 'Voci, voci' (1994) for soloist Peter Holtslag.
