According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Léo [not Délibes] Delibes [Clement Philibert] was a French composer, also organist, pupil of Adam. Works include ballets ("Copelia" and "Sylvia" - notably of full musical substance) "Lakmé" and other operas; also Mass, songs, etc.
