Publishers blurb: "This fourth edition will completely supersede its predecessors. It is longer by several hundred entries; many of the old entries have been cosiderably enlarged in the light of new research, Both new and old material combine into a work of reference that will be indispensible for anyone interested in music. My comments:
This "Dictionary of Music" is a light-weight alongside Dr Scholes's The Oxford Companion to Music but is nevertheless useful and is a good source for one- and two-liners.
