Personal Remarks:
I purchased this item sometime in the late 1970's whilst on holiday in Worcester, England with the purpose learning some Irish songs to sing in the family circle. Shortly afterwards I became involved with the Idle Fellows and so it quickly became redundant and I have dipped into but rarely. It contains quite a number of works by Thomas Moore and other Irish "standards" nearly all of which can be found in other songbooks in my library. One notable exception is "Paddy McGinty's Goat" which I always intended to learn some day or other. This is my source for: The Rakes of Mallow and The Rose of Tralee.
