Maud Huth

p_huthm.jpgIt is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of items located. All that can presently (November 2023) be gleaned about Maud Huth from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she was an American vaudeville performer who has been featured on 13 works published between 1894 and 1899.
Her portrait on the left is taken from Dora Dean (1896) music by Bert A. Williams, and published by Broder & Schlamm, San Francisco, California, USA. Here she is shown together with a partner Billie S. Clifford. Gossip given a in a newspaper cutting given in the link below rumours that they were briefly married.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about these performers.
