p_grayg.jpgAll that can presently (February 2025) be gleaned about George Gray from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was presumably an English music hall entertainer who has been featured on 7 works published between 1900 and 1901.
A George Gray also made at least 7 recordings from 1924 to 1934 on the Victor, Columbia and Brunswick labels. Is this the same person? Who knows?
His portrait on the left is taken from The Fighting Parson music by George Everard, words by Harry Adams.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this performer.
