Maggie Cline (1857-1934)

p_clinem.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Maggie Cline was an American vaudeville singer born of Irish immigrants in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Aged just sixteen, she joined a burlesque troupe, Snellbaker & Benson's Majestics embarking on a career throughout the United States for the latter part of the 19th-century. She frequently appeared in New York City and starred in two Broadway productions, The Prodigal Butler (1893) and On Broadway (1896).
She retired from the stage in 1917 and died in Fair Haven, New Jersey.
