According to the Internet source given below, Belén Nieto Galán was born in Madrid and studied recorder with Fernando Paz and flute with M.Angeles Grau at the professional conservatory of music "P.A.Soler" in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid), finishing in 2004 with 9'8 as a final mark. She followed different courses about both performing and building instruments with teachers as Paul Leenhouts, Aurele Nicolet, Kees Boeke, Jacqueline Sorel, Monika Musch and Wilbert Hazelzet. At the moment she studies recorder with Paul Leenhouts and traverso with Jed Wentz at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
