Robert Ehrlich

rpehrlich.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Robert Ehrlich was born in Belfast, and studied recorder with David Lasocki and Walter van Hauwe amongst others. He attended King's College Cambridge gaining an MA in Music and an MPhil in Ethnomusicology. He has won music awards in London, Amersfoort and Munich. After working in London, Amsterdam and Berlin he moved on to Leipzig in 1986 becoming Professor of recorder at the Mendelssohn Hochschule. He has also taught on a regular basis at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London since 1998.
