Die Alt-Aumund Blockflöten-Ensemble was founded by a trio of school friends, Imke Wellmann, Annette Ahting and A.N. Other sometime (an educated guess) in the 1980s. For me a remarkable group of ladies each having an entirely different character and who as adults rarely meet socially except for there weekly meetings to play recorder. These meeting are not rehearsals because they never have and never intend to perform publicly.
