This prelude has become a virtual European Anthem and is played by the European Broadcasting Union on all notable events such as the European Song Contest for example.
This piece, which was edited by Heidi Suhrlie, was played often by The Schwanewede Recorder Consort, The Vegesack Double Quartet and by Blue Monday. It is quite suitable for beginners.
