Vagn Holmbo (1909-1996)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Vagn Holbo was a Danish composer, pupil of Toch, Hoffding, and others; influenced by Béla Bartók. Works include 10 string quartets, and 10 "chamber concertos".
