According to the Internet source given below, Kees Boecke studied recorder with
Frans Brüggen and cello with Bijlsma at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Graduating with distinction in 1969, he founded the Quadro Hotteterre, co-founded Sour Cream and the Little Consort, and taught in The Hague and at the Sweelinck conservatory, Amsterdam, as well as in courses the world over. Since 1990 he teaches at the Zürich and Trossingen Academies. Today he is mostly busy also with contemporary music as a performer and composer. Kees Boeke has made more than 40 records and CD's.
