Elias Nikolaus Ammerbach has two dances ("Dantz und Proportio" - 1571) published in Deutsche Tänze des 16. Jahrhunderts.
According to the Internet source given below, Elias Nikolaus Ammerbach was a German organist and arranger of organ music of the Renaissance. He published the earliest printed book of organ music in Germany and is grouped among the composers known as the Colorists.
Born in Naumburg, he was educated at the University of Leipzig (1548-49), and was then the organist at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig.
