According to the Internet source given below, Cosmas Alder was a Swiss composer. He was a chorister at Bern cathedral from 1511 until 1524.He remained in the city as town clerk after the Reformation and was one of the few post-Reformation Swiss composers to write polyphony, a volume of hymns à 3 - 5 which was published posthumously in 1553.
