Quoting from several Internet sources: Sibyl Sanderson Fagan was a whistler born in Springfield, Ohio.
She was one of a number of whistling acts who were briefly popular in the early years of the recording industry. She recorded as early as 1917 for Columbia and also for Okeh, Edison & Victor, recording as late as 1924 before falling out of fashion.
She died in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
