"Der Waldjäger" (Forest Hunter) brings back happy memories. It was one of the first pieces I learned in the "Klingende Runde für jung und alt" way back in 1979 when it was often played in public. It contains seven dances from the Bohemian Forest namely: "Passauer Polka", "Salzburger Dreher", "Kikeriki", "Der Waldjäger", "Münchner Polka", "Zwei Zwiefache" and finally "Böhmische Mazurka".
They are quite short and jolly, very suitable for young learners.
