According to the Internet source given below, Judith Lang Zaimont is an American pianist, performer, educator and composer born in Memphis Tennessee.
She studied at the Long Island Institute of Music (1966), Queens College (1968) and Columbia University (1978). She studied composition under Hugo Weisgall, Jack Beeson and Otto Luening. She also traveled to France through a fellowship in order to study orchestration with André Jolivet
She has taught at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Adelphi University, and the University of Minnesota.
Of ragtime interest is her Reflective Rag (1975),
