A prolific composer of concert band literature having over 300 publications with such publishers as Warner Brothers, CPP/Belwin, Hal Leonard, Jenson, Studio PR, Musicworks, and Columbia Pictures. He studied music at Troy State University, Alabama and at University of Miami, Florida. His compositions and arrangements range from the welcoming ceremonies in Japan honouring President Ronald Reagan to Opening Day at Dodger Stadium, from the opening of the Macys's Thanksgiving Day Parade telecast to the Ringling Bros./Barnum & Bailey Circus and the Olympic Games.
