Presently there is no information available regarding Royal Neel. He is only known for the much recorded Majestic Rag (1914) which he co-authored with Ben Rawls and published by the Texan firm of The Bush & Gerts Piano Co.Bush and Gerts, Dallas. Intriguingly he has also found to have been a Musician 1st Class serving in the 360th Infantry,. 90th Division of the A. E. F during World War I. He was credited for writing the music to "Send Us a Boat Load of Girls", words Sgt. Mark Westcott, which was published by Hugo Bartke & Trier.
