According to Handbuch der Klaviermusik Milko Keleman is a Yugoslavian composer regarded as a leading figure in the modernisation of Yugoslavian music. Somewhat similar to Béla Bartók in style initially but then tended more to Olivier Messiaen (1908- ) when in his thirties. Main works: Sonata (1953) and the seven "Dessins commentés".
