Cecil Macklin (1883-1944)

Cecil Macklin is a relatively unknown English dance tune arranger and composer of Très Moutarde (1911) which was vastly popular on both sides of the Atlantic and which has been recorded right up to the present day. He is also know to have written the music for That Whistling Rag (1913) in collaboration with the lyricist, Greatrex Newman.
