John Peel
Last updated: 11.10.23
"John Peel" is a fine rousing English folk song which was sung over and over in my primary school (only in the classes I must hasten to add, not unsupervised in the playground where we had more interesting things to do like running round in circles). Finding it again in Folk Songs of the British Isles was a joy and recalled those halcyon days of childhood.
